Aims & Ethos
“At the heart of the learning process is the Child, we aim to keep this fact to the fore.”
At Homefield School, within an environment of cooperation and mutual support between adult and child, we aim to provide a broad and balanced curriculum where children can develop values, skills and knowledge. We believe that children of all nationalities and creeds are entitled to equal regard just as they are entitled to equality of opportunity in learning.
Ethos Statement
Recognising its historic foundations, the school will preserve and develop its religious character in accordance with the principles and practice of the Church at parish and diocesan level. The school aims to serve its community by providing education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice. It encourages an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith and promotes Christian values through the experience it offers to its pupils.
